BUCHERER 

Bucherer, a Swiss luxury watch and jewelry company founded in 1888 by Carl-Friedrich Bucherer in Lucerne, Switzerland. The company is still family-owned and operated and is known for producing high-quality timepieces and jewelry.
 
Bucherer has a long history of watchmaking and has created many innovative designs over the years. In the 1930s, the company created one of the world's first automatic watches, the Bucherer Mono-Rotor. In the 1950s, they developed a waterproof watch with a patented "super compressor" case, which became popular with divers.

Today, we have a super cool piece, it is a vintage Bucherer clock-lighter. Yes! It is a real lighter with a manual wind Swiss made watch. Works fine and keeps time. 
 
Made in the 1970s, this butane gas lighter features a gold-tone textured brick-shaped body with an integrated clock. The body is 29x60mm rectangular case and is double marked with the number 8680. The body is also signed Swiss Made.  
 
Lighter will need to be filled to get running again.
 
It is a manual-wind watch, 17 jewels, Swiss made. Original champagne dial with gold Arabic Numerals, gold hour marks and gold matching hands. The dial is signed with the Bucherer name and logo and 17 Jewels on top. 

It is in LOVERY condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have pertaining to size. 

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that. 

The condition is pre-owned. 
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
